4-H Teens Night Out Planned

Teens in P.D. 9 are invited to a 4-H Teens Night Out at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11 at the Culpeper Baptist Church, South West Street in Culpeper. The purpose of the meeting is to learn about 4-H opportunities for teens ages 14-19 and to have an opportunity to meet teens from all five counties which includes Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison, Fauquier, and Orange.

There will even be drawings for scholarships to several upcoming events in 1994. For more information, call Kim and Kenner Love, 4-H Teen Club Leaders at 675-1330 or the Extension Office at 675-3619.

Homemakers To Meet

The Blue Ridge Extension Homemakers’ Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the Extension Office. NSDAR To Meet

The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the Rappahannock Library in Washington. Betsy Rapp Hostrop and Virginia Venable Rapp will give a dramatic reading about John and Abigail Adams.

The Rappahnnock-Rapidan Community Services Board invites persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/Screening Programs to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Center: At 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 6, Sally Nash, ChoreographerFeldenkrais; 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 13, Bob Treanor, Family GuidanceProgram on Depression and 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 20, Marion Sharp, RNBlood Pressure and Sugar Check.
