The Capital Jazz Sextet will bring “Jazz from the Smithsonian” when it performs its unique style of jazz arrangement on Sat. Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. at The Theatre at Washington, Va. The concert is the first in “The Smithsonian at Little Washington” concert series which is in its second year of presenting a variety-df music performances to audiences from Rappahannock and neighboring: counties.
Led by trombonist and arranger Bret Wallarub, the Capital Jazz Sextet features members of the highly acclaimed Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and includes noted instrumentalists from the Washington, D.C. and New York City areas.
