He was the husband of the late Drucille Bell Sisk Pullen.
Surviving are a son, Edward Lee Pullen of Washington; a brother, Clyde Pullen of Sperryville; a halfbrother Romie Pullen of Glen Burnie, Md.; two sisters, Alice Beahm and Dorothy Ralls, both of Washington; a half sister, Sevilla Huff of Washington; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
He was also predeceased by a son, Lewis Bryant Pullen.
Otelia Triplett
Mrs. Otelia Johnson Triplett, 74, of Brandy Station, died Thursday, Sept. 30 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
A Culpeper native, Mrs. Triplett has retired as a chef. She had worked at Holiday Inn in Culpeper, at the Fauquier Springs in Fauquier County and later for a private employer.
She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church at Norman in Culpeper and the widow of Eugene F. Triplett Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Adelbert Triplett of Fairfax and Eugene Triplett of Lake of the Woods; a daughter, Darlene Brown of Culpeper; four sisters, Frances Williams of Culpeper, Mable Thompson of New Jersey, and Pauline Culbert and Martha Johnson, both of Washington; two brothers, James Johnson of New Jersey and Eugene Johnson of Culpeper; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 4 at Good Hope Baptist church with the Rev. Hugh Wilson officiating.
