with state-wide and local significance for the last 25 years that I’ve lived in this house district. I do not appreciate the inference that I would ever allow' someone else to do my thinking for me. If it were said of him, Mr. Grohgan would resent it, too.

Also, I must re-state for the record that I voted against the onehandgun-a-month bill, and no innuendo by Mr. Grohgan or anyone else can erase that fact.

JERRY M. WOOD

Delegate 31st House District

Land Use

Taxation

To the Editor:

At a recent candidate’s forum in Fauquier County, Mr. Jerry Wood stated that he supported the termination of land use taxation.

This statement was made before members of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association. No doubt, some (but not all) of them were seduced by such a statement.

Incidentally, Mr. Jay Katzen, Wood’s opponent in the race for the House of Delegates, strongly supports land use taxation.
