The Christmas Eve Service at Washington Baptist Church will tell the story of the gift of Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for mankind. Helping to tell the story will be the adult choir, the children’s choir, as well as the men’s chorus. The children will provide a living nativity as the Christmas story is read and sung. A Candlelight Communion Observance will conclude the evening. The service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church will hold its annual Christmas Eve candlelight service at 8 p.m. on Dec. 24.
