It may be something larger like helping to organize an event or project when someone else cannot. Whether large or small it is people working together with kindness, caring and in the t.rue Christmas spirit which enables so much of our planning to bear fruit.
While, despite good intentions, the ’ kindnesses people do for me sometimes don’t get acknowledged I want stop to thank those friends neighbors and strangers-you know who your are-who have made my life easier not only during the special season but throughout the year.

As a graduate of Rappahannock County High School, and as a member of both the Cross County and Track teams, I was pleased to see the amount of coverage given to the Cross County team this fall. The efforts of Mike Grimsley, Jason Waters, and Holly Gangel reflect their dedication, perseverance, and outstanding coaching over the course of the year.
