Col. Carl R. Baker, Superintendent of the Virginia State Police, today announced the beginning of an extensive recruitment effort by the Department to locate qualified applicants for the position of trooper. He ptnphasized that women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
The recruitment effort began Dec. 1 and extendes through Jan. 38, 1994, for trooper applicants to fill Jf basic school expected to begin in wie fall of 1994.
