Since a few minutes can often mean the difference between life and death with regard to poisonings, pet owners’ should contact their local veterinarian quickly if they suspect their pet has ingested some of these toxic substances.

Many Awards
Thirteen students and three faculty members from the Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly attended the Virginia Junior Classical League Winter Convention Dec. 10 and 11.
The agenda included academic tests and competitions, performance competitions, arts and crafts displays, art competitions and informative seminars and addresses. The WCDS delegation came away from Richmond with a total of 42 awards.
