guest Anne Farmer created her share of Christmas spirit when she led the group in singing familiar carols.
During the meeting President Helen Brown honored Dot Mank with a Life Membership in the Virginia Federations of Garden Clubs on behalf of the Club. Dot, a member since 1978, has recently retired as an active member to become an Associate. For the past fourteen years she has edited the monthly news letter which has won many awards for the Club. Members looked forward to the letter not only for information but for the breezy, chatty style which made it fun to read. It’s hoped Dot will still find time for Garden Club.
