Mr. Nicholson was bom April- 7, 1926, in Syria, the son of Felton S. and Claudia Fincham Nicholson.
He was retired from the U.S. Government and was a member of Braddock Hills Weslyan Church in Annandale.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby A. Nicholson of Manassas; a son, Bruce L. Nicholson of Manassas; a daughter, Brendh S. Buchanan of Manassas; two brother, Reid Nicholson of Front Royal and Ray Nicholson of Flint Hill; a sister, Mildred Ackliss of Arlington and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 11 at Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home with the Rev. David Sherwood officiating.
Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bob Adams, Carroll Taylor, Don Mallory, Jack Miller, Jack Wilfone and Rex Shiflett.
Honorary pallbearers were Craig Buchanan, James Marders, John Wert and Robert Ritenour.
Elmer Wilson
Mr. Elmer M. Wilson, 64, of Leesburg, died on Sunday, Dec. 19 at his residence.
He was bom on Jan. 9, 1929, in Marshall.
He was the son of Ruby May Hodgins Wilson of Leesburg and the late Robert Floyd Wilson.
He was a self-employed roofer.
Surviving with his mother are his wife, Agnes Pearl Swartz of Leesburg; three sons, Johnney Swartz of Berryville, Ernest Swartz of Waterford, and George Swartz of Purcellville; five daughters, Mabel Tiffany of Berryville, Peggy Blankenship of Purcellville, Nancy Gray of Clearbrook, Teresa E. Hagerty of Castleton, and Vivian Miller of Monroe; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
