Leola McCloud
Mrs. Leola Fincham McCloud, 83, of Boston died Tuesday, Dec. 14 at her residence.
She was bom Oct. 30, 1910, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Gilbert Lee and Violet Jenkins Fincham.
Mrs. McCloud was the wife of the late Robert Calvin McCloud and a member of Alum Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marie Marsden of Boston; three sons, Robert L. McCloud of Reva, Harry Dale McCloud of Culpeper and Clifton Gene McCloud of Madison; two sisters, Beulah May Coughlin and Rebecca N. Weaver both of Culpeper; one brother, David S. Fincham Sr. of Warrenton; seven grandchildren; 10 great-granchildren and 13 step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 17 at Clore Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Wayne Fincham, Oscar Ray Fincham, William Worley, Jeff Worley, James Porter and Ed Baker.
Sherwin Walter
Sherwin Walter, 78, of Bay Village, Ohio died Dec. 7.
He was bom March 12, 1915, in Rappahannock County to the late Leslie and Mary Virginia Goff Walter.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and later was employed by Outdoor Advertising Company.
Surviving are his wife Beverly Wygal Walter; a daughter, Linda Chudowsky of Bay Village; a son Sherwin Walter Jr. of Paducah, Kty. and six grandchildren.
Also surviving are one sister Katherine Riley of Amissville and two brothers, Byrne Walter of Warrenton and Leland Walter of Culpeper.
Funeral services were held in Bay Village Friday, Dec. 10 and interment in Roanoke.
