The Sperryville United Methodist Church will hold its annual Christmas Eve candlelight service at 8 p.m. on Dec. 24.
Mrs. and Mrs. Billy Wayland and Tiffany entertained with a preChristmas dinner party on Thursday evening in honor of his mother. Mrs. Kathryn A. Wayland. In addition to Mrs. Wayland guests were Mrs. Georgia Campbell, Mrs. Betty Eborn, Mrs. Betty Smith, Mrs. Ann Fox and Mrs. Betty Pullen.
Tiffany Wayland was a Saturday afternoon visitor of her cousin, Nathan Almarode in Front Royal. Also visiting with Nathan on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard LeSueur and Joseph of Culpeper, Mrs. Dorothy Clark and Barbara Wayland.
Larry Shephard was a patient at the Fauquier Hospital last week for knee surgery and is wished a speedy recovery.
