Mr. Raines said it could be a center for community activity. They also plan to improve the soccer field.
Mr. Raines said he feels certain a hard-surfaced track can be put over the current track after some grading work, in spite of a report presented to the School Board some years ago that said this would not work because of fill dirt used under the track. He said that there are no sink holes in the track or field, an indication that the dirt under them is stable.
