Also on August 3. a drink machine was turned over at the Sperryville Lmporiunyqn U S 211 and crashed through a'plate glass window. The dollar amount of the damage was undetermined at press time.
David Smoot of Sperryville reported that two chains saws worth S575 were stolen from his truck the morning of August 5.
No one has yet been arrested in these incidents.
An accident which involved two vehicles and seven people ended up sending all seven to the hospital on July 29.
According to Sgt. Fridley of the State Police, a 1984 Ford Bronco driven by Wilbur Lee Morrell, 42, of Amissville struck a 1986 Oldsmobile driven by Lisa Carol Sublett, 28, of Castleton near the intersection of U.S. 211 and Route 639 in Amissville. Trooper C.W. Sumner's report said that Mr. Morrell was crossing over U.S. 211 at Route 639 when he was struck by the eastbound car driven by Ms. Sublett.
