To the Editor:

The Rappahannock Farmer’s Association would like to express its thanks to Supervisors Robert Anderson and Mike Massie for their efforts in the vote and discussions-on the Fire Tax Levy.

It is important that Rappahannock County continue its support of the farming industry by maintaining use value taxation not only to keep formers in business, but also to protect-tbe very lifestyle that all residents-of Rappahannock County have coraelto expect. ' ■

It will take the type of leadership that they have shown on this issue-to keep Rappahannock County from yielding to the every increasing pressures of urbanization. Their willingness to stand up for what it really important may well make the difference.
