According to Sheriff John Henry Woodward, there was a rash of thefts in the Sperryville area this past week.
On August 1, Steve Soaper, who lives on Main St. in Sperryville, reported that his garage had been broken into. A Skilsaw and some socket wrenches worth a total of S198 were stolen. On August 3, Mr. Soaper also reported that a window air-conditioner and a router were stolen from his Dronertv. They are worth S350
