The joint venture is one of the largest projects ever in the Washington region. The project will generate more revenues and higher paying jobs than were projected from the now-defunct plans for the Disney's America theme park in Prince William.
Gov. George, Allen, surrounded by local officials and executives of the two companies, outlined the plans at a Manassas press conference.
“The decision confirms Virginia’s emergence as the new technology center of the east United States,” Gov. Allen said.
