David Winfield Haught, 30, of Rixeyville, was found not guilty of grand larceny. He had been indicted in November, 1994 for stealing a Remington 870 12-gauge shotgun from William Mai Fox.
After hearing testimony from several people, including a lot of conflicting testimony from Mr. Fox and the defendant. Judge W. Shore Robertson said “The court cannot find beyond a reasonable doubt that he is guilty.”
