Sharp Rock Farm on the Hughes River will be the site of the annual picnic meeting of the Rappahannock Historical Society at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11. The picnic is for members only the their summer houseguests. President Howard Holschuh invites anyone to come by paying their yearly dyes of $20 family, or $15 single at the door.
