Assuring that welfare reform includes funds for quality child care for mothers of young children entering the workforce should be a bipartisan goal. The important role that comprehensive day care centers can provide in coordinating services to families needs to recognized by Republicans and Democrats alike. My purpose in inviting politicians and candidates is not to provide an endorsement for either, but to prov ide an education for both.
