Capital News Service 4 Lottery money, lottery money. Who’s going to receive the lottery money? Remind you of a .childhood game? Maybe it’s more similar than you realize.
During February’s General Assembly, Gov. George Allen proposed that lottery money earnings be returned to localities, but legislators didn’t agree and passed a law earmarking them for education.
Since then, the fallout has included accusations and denials and just where the lottery proceeds go somehow becomes lost in the shuffle.
