William Furr
William Furr, 75, of Rixeyville died Aug. 14 at Fauquier Hospital.
He was born in Fauquier County on June 8, 1920, the son of Lawrence and Mary Furr.
Mr. Furr was a carpenter and a member of the Culpeper Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Furr; five sons, William John Furr of Bealeton, Billy Furr and Roy Furr, both of Amissville, Roger Furr of Warrenton and Ray Furr of Oklahoma; three daughters, Mary Martin of Warrenton, Linda Marshall of Culpeper and Betty Wood of Fredericksburg; one brother; two sisters; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Harrison and Lonnie and a daughter, Margaret.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 16 at Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton. The Rev. Vernon Courtney officiated.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
