The Rappahannock Monarchs defeated Edinburg twice on Sunday to take a 2-1 lead in the finals of the Apple Valley Baseball League Playoffs.
Edinburg beat the Monarchs 10-3 on Saturday in Edinburg, but the Monarchs responded with 11-10 and 12-5 victories on Sunday at Rappahannock County High School.
