Smith Hired

Hospice of the Rapidan recently hired Page Ann Smith of Washington as director of community outreach. She will coordinate public relations, community education, and fund raising efforts for the organization.
Ms. Smith earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Mary Washington College. She has worked extensively with not-for-profit organizations, including a recent term as president of The Rappahannock Association for the Arts in the Community.
For the past seven years, Ms. Smith coordinate marketing and public information efforts for the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department. Prior to 1988, she was assistant to the director of Marketing and Community Relations at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
