The featured instruments is the Pan, a unique Caribbean steel drum instrument transformed by master craftsman from 55-gallon oil drums. The Pan Masters perform on more than 30 pans producing a full range “orchestra” sound. The melodies evoke the sounds of Trinidad and Tobago, the percussion “kitchen” providing strong rhythms to create one of Bluemont’s most colorful and popular concerts of the season.
In the event of bad weather the concert will be held at the Culpeper County High School auditorium.
Admission is $3 per person and all are welcome. Plan to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the evening. Homemade refreshments will be served at each concert.
