Ms. Poore is a firm believer in homeopathic remedies for the horses, including chiropractic and acupuncture. Joyce Harman is a local veterinarian who employs these methods, and Ms. Poore calls her in when needed. Last week, one of her own horses was cured by using acupuncture. The horse was stiff on one side, and after the treatment, was back to normal, said Ms. Poore.
If homeopathic remedies do not work, however, she won’t hesitate to resort to traditional methods of treatment. She does like to try the new methods though,
