* It is hard to remember such a beastly summer as this one has been. It is also getting hard to remember that we are located in the mountains. Most of them have disappeared in the haze. •; Since early in July temperatures have risen to the 90s each day, ind recently they have barely dropped below the 80s overnight. This has been hard on the crops, hard on people who have to work in the crops, and hard on businesses that rely on tourists.
We do not want to wish anyone bad luck, but frankly we are hoping the Hurricane Felix gets close enough to provide some break in this weather.
