Eliza-Jane Beale Herndon and Maurice Gordon Herndon of Greenoch Farm, Sperryville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a reception following the Sunday morning service at Trinity Episcopal Church.
During the service the Rev. Jennings Hobson reconsecrated the marriage vows the Herndons originally exchanged on Aug. 3, 1935, in the Washington Cathedral.
