Several Halloween happenings will be taking place around the county this week.
Friday, Oct. 25: A Halloween Fun Fair will be held at the Rappahannock County Elementary School from 7 to 9 p.m.. Festivities will include a spooky haunted house, refreshments, games, a costume contest and many other activities for the entire family to share. Friday, Oct. 25: The Amissville United Methodist Church is hosting a pumpkin party beginning at 7 p.m. The Rev. Nancy White said the party will offer games, costume judging, prizes and refreshments. She said that the church encourages creative, wholesome and fun costumes. Storybook, TV, Bible characters, and animals are welcome, she said.
