Floyd Woodward
Floyd Nelson Woodward, 78, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Front Royal, died Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Va Medical Center in Martinsbuig, West Virginia.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, Oct. 14 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal by the Rev. Jerry Young.
Mr. Woodward was bom February 25, 1918, in Rappahannock County, son of the late Jack and Minnie Clatterbuck Woodward.
He was a retired horse farm groomer.’He was a member of the Disabled American Legion Post 400 of Ocala, Fla.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World Warn.
He was the husband of the late Vera D. Woodward.
Surviving are a daughter, Joan Rogers of Keameysville, West Vnginia; three brothers, Edward Woodward of Norfolk, Silas Woodward and Mackwell Woodward, both of Orange; three sisters, Dorothy Frye of Sperryville, Sarah Davis of West Chester, Pa., and Pearl Pollett of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal.
