To the Editor:
I would like to compliment and thank the women of Trinity Episcopal Church for expertly handling all the details of the tea held at my home during last weekend’s house tour.
Their organizational ability, baking skills and the courtesy are a marvel to behold. My guess is that the ladies served tea, cookies and sandwiches to more than 700 people in just a few short hours without a glitch.
Our community's support for this annual house tour is very strong. In fact, I’m sure there are many people who consider themselves to be Episcopalians one weekend a year just for the joy of participating as a hostess or tour Workers.
It was our pleasure to serve as the tea house, an honor Walt and I would readily accept at any time, especially since we’ve seen firsthand just how skillful the women of Trinity Episcopal Church are at this event.
