The Rappahannock News and Times Community Newspapers welcomes Jan La Valley as Managing Editor.
"We are fortunate indeed to have Mrs. La Valley as managing editor and with her extensive newspaper background we look forward to new and exciting possibilities for the Rappahannock News ," said Executive Editor and General Manager Barbara C. Wayland.
Mrs. La Valley is a native of nearby Culpeper County and was former Community Editor for the Culpeper StarExponent.
"I am pleased and excited to be here at the Rappahannock News and look forward to meeting all our readers soon," she said.
