4-H Share-the-Fun Show Planned

The 4-H Share The Fun Talent Show will be held at 5 p.m. on Feb. 15 at the Rappahannock County High School. Anyone interested in performing can pick up information at Rappahannock County Elementary, High School or the Extension Office. Rehearsals are Feb. 6, 11 and 13 at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium at 3:30 p.m. In case of high school closing or early dismissal due to weather conditions, rehearsals will be canceled. Benefit Dance at RCHS

Come enjoy a super evening of live entertainment by ‘The Southern Persuasion Band” at a benefit dance at Rappahannock County High School from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. Bring your favorite dance partner and celebrate Valentine’s Day in style. Highlights of the evening will be: beautiful fresh roses for sale; door prizes; a raffle and refreshments. Admission is $5. Video Discussion Planned

On Feb. 18 the IRIS Centre for Shamanic Studies, Washington will show the ground-breaking program which put the men’s spirituality movement on the map, “Robert Bly with Bill Moyers: A Gathering of Men.” In this video. Poet Robert Bly leads a group of men in exploring their deeper feelings-about themselves, their father, their sons and their role in society. Show time is 7 p.m. Admission is $5. Support Group To Meet

Education Group To Meet

The First Thursday Education Support Group will meet on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Extension Office on Gay Street. Please join the group as Raye Tupper, Principal, and Richard Smith, Assistant Principal, tell us what’s new, different and challenging at the Elementary School, as well as sharing their vision with us and answering questions.
