Scout Sunday Scheduled
The Washington Baptist Church will host the celebration of Scout Sunday for Cub Scout Pack 123 at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9 at the church. Rev. Phil Bailey and Cub Scout Master, Joe Peregory invite all.
Classes Offered
The American Red Cross of Culpeper-Madison Chapter will be offering the following classes in February: Feb. 7 and 8 — First Aid and CPR and Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. — CPR for the Professional Rescuer-recertification class. Open House at The Winery
The Oasis Winery will be hosting an open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 hor d’oeuvres, wine tasting, winery tours, Virginia made specialty food and gift products and live music on stage in celebration of Mardi Gras and Valentines Weekend!

Valentine's Dinner Planned
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad is sponsoring a Valentine’s dinner on Feb. 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Rappahannock Elementary School.
The menu will include one-half barbecue chicken, wild rice, peas, salad, rolls, dessert and beverages for $8 or $15 for a couple. There is also a special child’s menu for children 8 and under for $3.50. The dinner will be prepared by Pat Jenkins and Shirley Frye who have been in the business totaling over 40 years.
