By CINDY MAHAN Rappahannock News Staff Writer Two car wrecks took place within an hour of each other on Tuesday morning. The first one happened at 7:50 a.m. on U.S. 211, 1/2 mile east of Route 729 near Castleton. Jeannette Edwards, 33, of Washington, was driving a 1991 Ford pickup eastbound when a deer leaped off a bank and landed on the front of the truck. The deer went through the windshield, landing on the driver. Va. State Trooper C.A. Moore said that Ms. Edwards was not injured, but the deer caused an estimated $3000 damage to the truck.
