Her Lessons Live on
Everyone was saddened by the loss this week of a great lady _ Mary Botts Miller Quaintance Snead. Those who did not know her knew of her. Those who were fortunate enough to know her were the better for it.
Mrs. Snead was a lifelong educator but her lessons went far beyond regular classroom fare. She taught lessons for life. Those she taught were forever influenced by her message.
Her example is one that teachers today could greatly benefit from. She always went the extra mile to learn about her students' lives and try to make a difference _ and she succeeded.
Perhaps the gre°* st tribute to her is the lasting impression she has made on the lives she touched. Those impressions and lessons learned will live on in "her children's " children and very probably beyond.
