The Panther squad ran off five straight points in the first^game with Courtney Mauro serving to take an 83 lead. The team got three more points on serves by Nancie Gallegos and lead 11-3. After that the serve switched back and forth several times, while Manassas Park picked up four points and the Panthers added two, Fran Overdorf served up the final two points.
In the second game Courtney again picked up a pack of points to give the Panthers an 11-3 lead. Manassas Park wouldn’t quit however, and the Panthers had a hard time getting the additional four points for the win.
The JV has had similar success, but they managed to take Brentsville
