on the General Assembly updates and the motion was made to approve the regular meeting times for the board, the yearly approval of which is according to code. The times remain the same.
Correspondence was discussed and Mr. Estes will represent the board at the Planning District Commission meeting since BOS Chairman Hubert S. Gilkey will be unable to attend due to a prior commitment.
It was also decide that Mr. McCarthy will draft a letter of endorsement to the RappahannockRapidan Planning District Commission in favor of the RRPDC applying for grant monies from the Regional Competitiveness Act.
"The grant money may help create jobs in the region which people in our area can take advantage of," said Mr. Frazier.
The board also felt that Rappahannock should be on the Pave in Place Proposal which Loudoun County made to the General Assembly. Mr. McCarthy said he would inquire about additional information on the bills status from Delegate Jay Katzen, (R-31st).
The minutes of the January meeting and building permits were approved and the accounts were approved with the addition of a little over $3,000 for added roof repair costs for the Commissioner of Revenue building. The costs went over original estimates of $10,500 due to added masonry repair costs. The final cost for roof repair was $13,637.
