Gray Armistead manages the Flying A Cattle Company with the same intensity of purpose he brought to Capitol Hill nearly 25 years ago. A retired Naval aviator, Senate staffer, and consultant, Armistead embarked on his fourth career, beef cattle farming, with two principal goals — to control his marketing and to have the most contented, most productive cattle herd in the country.
