Rappahannock High students participated in a track meet Tuesday in Page County. Milton Fletcher excelled in the long jump with 18 feet, 9 inches and cleared the high jump at five feet. The trout fishing season opens in Rappahannock county at noon Saturday, April 7. The only stream stocked this year is Piney Branch in the Sperryville area. Donald Gore was elected president of the Sperryville Rescue Squad at the April meeting held Monday evening. Wilson Burke was named first vice president and Ian Pryde, second vice president.
