The Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company of Virginia has authorized an expenditure of $19,000 to add additional dial equipment to the Sperryville communications center. The C&P will install some 70 subscriber lines and some 200 terminals. Troop No. 65 of Sperryville spent two nights camping on the Skyline Drive last week and were accompanied by the Rev. William A. Harrison. Outstanding camper was Jerry Thomas, second David Thornhill and John Lloyd Jenkins Jr. was given the adventure award. Edward Page Moffett was named to the dean’s list of distinguished students at the University of Virginia for the first semester of 1967-68. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Moffett Jr. of Washington, Va.
