I would like to compliment the
Rappahannock News for its thorough coverage of the arts in the county. It is perhaps what I most look forward to each week. The full page article on photographer Charlie Tompkins in the March 11 issue was superb, as was the article on Paul Reisler, Tom Paxton, and their music workshop in the March 25 issue.
I hope everyone is aware of how fortunate Rappahannock is to have such a thriving arts community, even though it is not a large county in terms of population. Whether visual arts, theater, music or other art forms, Rappahannock seems to have it. The arts, and natural beauty too — people are so fortunate to live there.
