Lions Club to celebrate anniversary
The Rappahannock Lions Club will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a buffet dinner and awards program at the Culpeper Country Club Thursday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. A limited number of guests will be accommodated at $20 per person. Contact Ken Marlor at 347-3474 or Frank Warner at 987-8103.
Community egg hunt set
The Sperryville Fire Department Auxiliary along with local churches are sponsoring an Easter egg hunt on Friday, April 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall. Activities will include a flannel board story of the resurrection, games, snacks and an egg hunt. “Bring your Easter basket and have some fun,” said a spokesperson.
