“I have found it so rewarding. I keep in touch with all the kids we’ve had and I’ve even gone to visit some of them and some of them have come back to visit us. I’ve think they’ve kept me young.”
McNear said families need to remember that the program works even if the host family doesn’t have kids or their kids are younger than the visiting student.
