An Easter egg hunt sponsored by local churches will be held April 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department. The hunt is open to the community.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Kellie Baker who will celebrate her first birthday on Saturday, April 11. Kellie’s grandfather Bill Baker will also celebrate his birthday on Saturday and we wish them both a happy birthday.
The annual Miss Rappahannock pageant sponsored by the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will be held on April 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock High School. Registration will be held Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m. The pageant will be open to all single females ages two to 19 and boys age two to six.
There will be a mother/daughter, sisters and grandmother’s category. Sponsor fee for each contestant will be $20. Pageant admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children. Contact Nancy at 987-8495 or Betty at 9877256 for more information. All contestants must reside in Rappahannock County.
