The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have an Easter sunrise service on Sunday, April 12 at 6:30 a m. A breakfast will follow the service at the Flint Hill fire hall. The pastor, the Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.
Irene Hamilton of High Point, N.C. arrived on Sunday to spend some time with her mother Alice Brady.
Weekend guests of Betty Klise and Linnie Cummings were Betty’s daughters Mrs. Carolyn Parker and sons Jermery and Jason of Portsmouth, Mrs. Gale Gencarelli and daughters Ann Gray and Sarah Weston of Orange and Mrs. Sue Roetker of Spokane, Washington. They celebrated the birthdays of Betty and Sarah. Sarah was celebrating her fifth.
Rodney Vest of Woodville visited his mother Mrs. Christine Vest on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hawkins of Fredericksburg were Wednesday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard. Sunday guests were Mark and Diane Graves. Also visiting were Mabel Lillard and Judy Smith.
