The girls soccer team traveled to Central last Thursday and came back with a 2-1 win.
Berkeley Hobson scored both goals for the lady Panthers with assists by Jenny Waters. Summer Alexander, Rebecca Metcalfe, Rebekah Letsen, Robyn Kaye, with keeper Alice Gentry all contributed to a solid defense that Central could not penetrate.
On April 3, the girls team played Berryville’s Clarke Eagles.
Hobson tied the game with a goal in the second half and keeper Alice Gentry made a daring save toward the end of the game on a penalty kick to keep the final score at 1-1. Sandy Oliver had an outstanding individual performance in the game.
