In an exciting game Monday afternoon the Rappahannock girls softball team beat Luray 7-6.
The lady Panthers battled Lura/' at every turn as the teams jockeyed for runs through each inning. Lauren Sharp did a great job pitching for Rappahannock and Margo Haynes owned center field, catching fly ball after fly ball, inning after inning to frustrate the Luray batters.
Catcher Candy Dennis made a great play in the top of the fifth when she tagged a Luray player who missed home plate and ended that inning for Luray. The lady Panthers had
