Beverly Atkins reigned supreme as Queen of Health during May Day Health Day festivities at Sperryville Elementary School Friday, with her King, Steve Leake. Harrison F. Wolf, son of Commander and Mrs. Irvin O. Wolf, was promoted to Army Major on April 10 at Ft. Benning, Ga. where he is a student at the U.S. Army Infantry Center. He entered the Army in 1958. A release from the Crop Reporting Board shows that stocks of all wheat on April 1, 1968 were 19 percent greater than on April 1, 1967 but still were more than a third below average.

Donna Cannon, of Castleton received top honors in the Glenwood Park 4-H and FFA Angus Heifer Show Saturday, April 28, near Leesburg. A ceremony and Court of Honor was held recently for all Rappahannock County Girl Scouts. Joanna Sobel and Brenda Haines received pins repeating the newly adopted promise and law. Numerous individual badges were awarded.
