Ihe Rappahannock Lions club held it’s “Charter Night” and awards ceremonies Thursday, April 23, at the Country Club of Culpeper. It was the club’s 40th anniversary. According to immediate past president, Frank Warner who organized the affair and served as master of ceremonies, it was a grand affair indeed, attended by about 75 participants.

The 11th Rappahannock Nature Camp will be a fresh ^ .mixture of traditional, time.-proven activities and brand> pew experiences.
This will be the fourth season at Singing Creek, along the Hazel River south of Sperryville. The camp is sponsored by the Piedmont Environmental Council and the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection.
Many of our campers have become old friends, though they may never see each other outside the three weeks of camp. Some keep coming back, eventually serving as counselors and instructors.
